Dolphin Discovery. Swimming with dolphins is an exciting event at Discovery Cove. The dolphin swim program includes 30-minutes of in-water interaction with a professional dolphin trainer and resident bottlenose dolphins. Prior to entering the Dolphin Lagoon, expert trainers share safety tips and helpful hints with the group, and are available to answer questions about the dolphins. At the end of the program, guests are “towed” by dorsal fin to shore one at a time with a trainer. Discovery Cove dolphin swims are open to guests age 6 or older.

Snorkeling at Discovery Cove. Snorkel among beautiful schools of tropical fish, giant sea rays, and colorful coral in the Coral Reef at Discovery Cove. There’s much to see in the Reef. Shipwreck remains, grottos, and an intricate labyrinth of expansive coral are home to dozens of marine life. Snorkel equipment and life jackets are available at Discovery Cove.  [Top]

Relaxing at Discovery Cove. In addition to fun educational activities, Discovery Cove also offers a Resort Pool and freshwater Tropical River where families can relax under the Florida sun. The heated swimming pool is perfect for cooling off or practicing snorkeling techniques before heading to the Coral Reef. Swim under refreshing waterfalls near the grotto. The entrance to the Tropical River is located at the Resort Pool. Cabanas, picnic tables and seating are available at the Resort Pool.  [Top]
