FAQs

How long is the dolphin swim experience and what is the age requirement to swim with the dolphins?

The dolphin swim experience includes a 10 minute orientation and a 30 minutes in-water dolphin experience. Children between the ages of 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult swimmer. For safety reasons, children under six are not allowed to participate in the dolphin swim and children must be at least 13 years of age to participate in the Trainer for a Day program without the supervision of an adult.

What do I wear and what should I bring with me?

Guests should bring swimsuits, and depending on preference, bring rubber pool shoes, water socks, sunglasses, hats, and cover up clothes. Discovery Cove provides masks, snorkels, towels, beach chairs, special sunscreen, and meals, snacks, and drinks for the day.
